Feathers
Feathers, as far as feathers go , can be realistic, simple tooling or just a layered piece of clay. The feather helps to create the character’s journey. The attention paid to a feather tells the viewer who the animal is. Large and technical representation may tell a story of strength, control and power. Smaller less detailed feathers may mean less importance to the animal’s needs. It could also mean this animal hardly ever relys on their feathers for any reason other than looks and decoration. The character of an animal in this group can tell the viewer who they are, just by how their feathers are or are not preresented.
